At the Palace now, but bound for somewhere else at any moment, no doubt. Our new head of MLE has been sending units out to restore order where there currently is not.

Do you want Patil to come back?

And if you want to be useful, what sort of uses do you have? What sort of training and the like?

I'm doing my best to get Patil to come back, whether I want her to, or not.

I don't know what use I actually am. I trained some in the salle Professor Dolohov set up, and I'm good, but I don't think I'd be much competition for an Auror. I taught Patil to be a better fighter, though -- if there's anyone who just can't fight at all, that Auror Lestrange wants trained, I could probably work with them until they at least wouldn't get themselves killed.

You need to be competition for an Auror, if you really, truly want to be useful. Rachel's going to pull some of them to her side, and much as I'd like to take them on, I'm not often the first one they call in for that.

Hoping to change that soon.

Lord Wossname's Palace salle is on reserve for Lady Lestrange, no doubt. I know one of the drawing rooms has already been converted, though, and there's likely plans for another. That will give you a place to practise.

How are you at Imperius?

I'm pretty good at Imperius. It's something Mr Rosier had me work on with a tutor during my summer holidays.

For the duelling, think there's anyone inclined to practise with me?

Keep practising. If the wind's blowing the way I think it is, we'll be making heavy use of that particular expertise in the weeks to come.

We've all got hot heels around here. Find someone who's not busy, and not hopeless, and ask them if they're inclined.

I said our new head of MLE, which shows what you know, Ireland. That's Crouch, and it so happens he doesn't care for me much. A while back, when we were in Ireland out on an Op, I took a risk that got his old man hurt. He's failed to see my worth ever since. That's why I was working for Rachel in sodding MEU, instead.
