Private message to Padma Patil

Padma -- I really hope you're not alone. Do you want to come over here, this afternoon?

I don't know how far the rumour's spread, so you might already know. But Mr Rosier told me that MLE was called yesterday to a muggle camp in Argyll Scotland, because Draco and Snape turned up there and Snape killed Draco.

There was more -- he didn't know what was true and what was exaggeration. But he was certain Draco was dead.

What?

No. Really? Seriously?

Wow.

Hang on. I'm going to--make an offering. I'll be back in a bit.

Okay.

I'm back. I should tell Mum and Pav. I wonder if Pavs will want to postpone her sangeet.

Do you know if there's going to be a public funeral? They came to Sanji's, remember? Mr and Mrs Malfoy. We should return the honour. If there's going to be one.

I mean...was he--was he really a traitor? (Oh, I don't know if you heard but supposedly these messages are really and truly private right now, so it's almost like we're talking in person. Unless that's a lie, I dunno for sure if it's true.)

Oh, it happens before. But we can't have a wedding if the family are in mourning, only I guess we don't technically have to mourn. It's not as if Draco were part of the family.

But if there's a national mourning or something, then we'd postpone. I dunno. It's really up to Pavs.

And whether or not he died a hero or something else. Though Harry certainly defended him and I agree, it's hard to imagine he could have been actually treasonous. If anything I think it was just that Granger tempted him, like the stories said, and he had a lapse of judgement.
