I don't think it's exactly necessary for the halfbloods to all be at one end of the table, but if people want to make sure that the food is in separate dishes, then it makes sense, kind of, for them to all be on one end. Otherwise it'd be a made scene, wouldn't it, with people losing track of which bowl went where. I mean, it just sort of happens naturally, that the halfbloods are going to sit nearer the food set aside for them, right?
Anyway, I don't think sitting in separate rows in lessons is as important as when food is being passed about. And it's only while the Ministry is fixing the disease, and then things'll be back to normal. It's a bit mad to treat all halfbloods like their contaminated, though, because obviously some of you really make an effort and that shouldn't be ignored.
