Interrogation gets folded in with Surveillance and Investigation, because we all know who's the head Interrogator around here, don't we? Anyway, I did intensives in both Surveillance and Investigation. They were great and I got to work on some fantastic operations. Lots of spying on Dogstar and such.
I was pretty eager to impress back then, but after a time I could sense that my ambitiousness was rubbing some people the wrong way. It made them mistrust me, in some cases, or outright compete with me in others. I did an intensive with MEU to show that I didn't mind doing the work that nobody wanted, and that's where I ended up.
'Course, MEU doesn't really exist now, as such.
And yeah, they probably would have kept me on, and I probably would have revealed my skills, eventually. I rather wanted to see if I could improve it, first. With practice, you know? Because I think it probably can be improved. Hydra Lestrange didn't come into her legilimency until what, a few years ago? And yet she's somehow as good as her mother.
