I'm all right. Shaken up. Daphne didn't deserve that.

And a few people have already had the gall to congratulate me because they assume I'll be Head Girl now. Can you imagine? Congratulated. As if I'd ever have wanted the job under these circumstances. All right, I admit it crossed my mind that it means Dovs might ask me to take it on for the--what, month? that we have left, but--people telling me congratulations? That's completely inappropriate, whatever anyone thought of Daphne.

Anyway. I'm mostly trying not to think about what happened tonight. Greengrass wasn't as good a Head Girl as you would have been but she was a perfectly always seemed like a perfectly nice girl. And it's just not what you expect, at a wedding. At all.

Do you think He really thought Daphne was a traitor, or He was just testing Crouch? Because you know once or maybe twice before, Crouch was set to get married and Our Lord put a stop to it then, too.

He might have had a reason. He must have had a reason. It might not have really been treason, though.

Well, He had good reasons when He made you do what you did. That was for the Realm, though, and it had to be done.
