I'm pretty sure it's not just about Nott. Mr Rosier's mentioned things in the past. The Council has factions, you know, people take sides. You might not have anyone to squabble with yet but once you have a bit of influence people will want you on their side, surely.

Should have made Longbottom get you remedies. Su Li did for me, and kept everyone else away, and it was so helpful.

Not sure you could get Weasley to step and fetch for you but maybe you could adopt a firstie to fag for you for the year. Maybe keep a lookout for a good one in your crop.

I'm going to see if I can enlist one of ours but I haven't had a chance to look them over properly yet. For now, though, Su Li's just ever so obliging.

Oh, I know; I mean, I heard about how Mr Malfoy and the Mulcibers hate each other and how he fell out with Mr Baddock. But what I mean is that we don't have any factions yet.(Also, does that mean Mr Nott didn't die in a 'home invasion'

Ugh, did you see Lestrange is inviting us to take a run? I spent the whole morning in bed, I'm not even sure I could walk around the grounds, honestly. But maybe it would actually help? (She probably knows things we don't about post-Cruciation recovery. I think it wasn't the first time her mum's done it.)
