And you're right. Someone who didn't know, who didn't understand, might think my mother's death was for no reason. Just out of -- blood lust, out of revenge, something like that.
But there was a purpose to it, a larger purpose.
We're not always going to know. That's what loyalty is all about, I guess, that sort of trust that Our Lord's actions have a purpose even if we don't always know what.
