I don't want some nosey parker to overhear, but look over there at Mandy Brocklehurst. Weasley's date looks awfully lonesome, doesn't she? It'll be interesting to see if Weasley turns up and if so...what he's wearing.
He's so thick, he just left them lying on his trunk, so I added a few improvements. They're sort of stained with yellow now, they're too small for him, and they say WANKER on the back. In sparkly letters.
So if he can remember how to do an enlarging charm he might be able to make them big enough to put on.
The question is, will he come in those robes? Or wear the hideous thing his mum sent? or will he notice Professor Sinistra left some spare school robes in our common room (I reckon he didn't, or he'd be here by now). Or will he sulk in the dorms and stand up his date?
Good to hear dancing's not too poncy for you, Finnigan. Best prepare yourself, though - all the unenlightened and uncultured sorts will be down later to gobble up pudding and take in the fairy lights.

Anyway, what's the story with you and Padma? Stepping in as last minute replacement for Davies, or have you two finally taken things to the next level?
Is she in the loo? Girls seem to spend half their lives in the loo, I don't understand why it takes them so much longer than it takes boys. I mean a little longer I could understand but some of them spend HOURS in there.
Padma and I are just here as mates. I think it'll be fun, though.
